Guru Purnima Celebration 2022

The festival of Guru Purnima was celebrated in Sri Sharada Public School. The day commemorates the Guru-Shishya parampara. Students were also enlightened on the contributions to society made by Hadapad Appanna and his portrait was garlanded.

The celebration began with a prayer song invoking God’s blessings by Class 5 and 6 students. Mr Amruteshwar Aralikatti, Teacher of Kannada spoke on the importance of the day and expressed that Gurupurnima reflects on your life and how we should honour the wisdom that life has offered. It is a day to be grateful when we realise that how wisdom has transformed our lives. ‘ Further, Vice Principal, Mrs Valentine expressed her views on the role of Guru in Students’ life.

The program concluded with National Anthem.
